Michal Mlekicki Works

  Michal (Mi-hal) Mlekicki (Mle-keet-ski) is my awesomely difficult to pronounce name. In terms of art, sculpture was the first art form I became interested in. Since the days of play-doe I have worked with quite a few medium's with-in the realm of sculpture. My work starts as an object in my mind and then my hand's do the rest. I enjoy the process inherent in completing any piece and the feeling of fulfillment when ever a sculpture is finally completed. 

 

   Photography came next at the age of 13. I grew up practicing in the woods next to my house, shooting the forest grounds and its inhabitants. I continued shooting in New Jersey, which trickled into New York. From New York travel interests pulled me oversea's where I began to shoot the majority of my work. As a result my portfolio is largely based on trips from abroad as you will see from the photo's I have selected out of it.
